paper experiments

My paper experiment fnished!

Finished design. I have put spikes and bars on my paper experiment which I got the idea from my blog picture- steampunk goggles as shown in the picture below and the bars from the steampunk gauntlet this connects to AO2 because I have edited my paper experiment as I went along and I used different techniques for different parts of my experiments.

I think that this is a very imaginative and well made piece of artwork. It is made of recycled cans and other metals but the reason it is just laying on the top of the head is because it would be quite dangerous if it was all over the head and could give a model that wears it cuts and it also looks more stylish on the angle of the head that its on. Stephen Jones who also made many more hats. This another piece of work by the famous milliner Stephen Jones but instead of recycled this hat is natural materials. I chose this picture because I find it very interesting and the movement effect I gives off is well done i also think this piece is very elaborate design.

My sketch of my head wear design. Front view.

My finished soap carving. I have used my steam punk goggles to help me with my choice of shape and design. I used AO2 to help me by me refining my soap over the two lessons and edited it.

I chose this image because it conects to my theme and is recycled and i think it is a well done piece of art work.

Things that have inspired me and my theme.

Metal Gauntlet

I found this picture interesting because it has lots of different parts to it. This connects to my theme because it uses metal and the shapes I have been using in the recent experiments at school.

Steampunk Gauntlet

I chose this picture because it looks robotic and it is impressively homemade.

Spikey Goggles

These goggles look mysterious. They connect to my theme because they have the spikes coming off the sides and that's where I got a lot of my ideas from.

Gladiator Helmet

I like this helmet because it is a modernized version of an ancient helmet.

The Wall Street Bull

I think that this sculpture depicts motion.

The artist James Oleson has been very imaginative and clever with the materials he has used in this piece.
